2005-06 Giving Program surpasses goals

The 2005-06 Faculty and Staff Giving Program surpassed its two goals: increased participation and raising more than $445,000. As of June 30, the EMU Foundation received gifts from 948 emeritus faculty, faculty and staff which amounted to more than $415,952. In addition, three estate gifts were realized which totaled $40,165. The grand total for the 2005-06 Faculty and Staff Giving Program was $456,117.

The biggest increase was seen in the number of people who contributed through the program, with 228 additional emeritus faculty, faculty and staff making a gift in fiscal year 2006.

Gifts made through June 30, 2007 count toward the 2006-07 giving program.
